Djurgarden sunflower

Sunflowers at Rosendals.

Bicycling around Djurgården at lunch today, I cut through the gardens at Rosendals Trädgård. The sunflowers were so incredibly huge and so gorgeous that I had to stop to admire them. Stockholm’s growing season is short, but the days of sunlight are long. Thus I’ve seen Jack and the Beanstalk size sunflowers that seem to tower over any others I’ve ever seen anywhere else.

Check out the happy bee.
