I liked how the grass poked out from the snow.

It started snowing Friday night and continued off and on all day Saturday. My parent’s backyard now looks like a winter wonderland. Snow is laying perfectly on tree brunches and bushes and ice has started forming on the lake. It was the second time in the past week that it has snowed, so all the neighborhood kids are happily trying out their new sleds and snowboards. Plus it’s a wet snow, so it’s easy to make snowballs and snowmen.

Robert and I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks yesterday. Then we got out for a walk to enjoy the contrast of the snow against the perfectly gray sky. It was so pretty.
