The stockings feature some of the classic patterns created by Josef Frank.
When it comes to interior design in Stockholm, it does not get much more classic than Svenskt Tenn. This store is the shopping destination for the welathy in this town. I’ve seen the iconic boldly patterned fabrics of Josef Frank from the store on pillows, chairs and couches in too many Swedish homes to count. And although I did not get the popularity of these patterns when I first moved to Stockholm, I’ve made my peace with it these days.
Recently, I went into the store to check out their julmarknad or holiday market. Here’s a glimpse of what I saw.
A basket of ornaments.
A bowl of stars.
And a platter of festive flower ornaments.
A holiday table setting. I like the green snaps glasses and the huge bouquet.
And I’ve been seeing huge vases of hyacinths like this one incorporated into all sorts of holiday displays lately.
